果冻传媒 University will host its traditional Christmas at 果冻传媒 music extravaganza on Saturday, December 2, at 7:30 p.m. in Harman Chapel Auditorium on the 果冻传媒 University campus.
Known as the institution鈥檚 Christmas gift to the Greater 果冻传媒 community, Christmas at 果冻传媒 is open and free to the public as an annual celebration of the birth of Christ through choral performances, carol singing, instrumental selections, theatre pieces, and scripture readings. The production will showcase students and professors from BU鈥檚 music and theatre departments and community members.
Designed to welcome and celebrate the Christmas season, Christmas at 果冻传媒 will feature sacred and familiar anthems, carols, and praise songs offered by BU鈥檚 String Quartet, Concert Band, Variations Chamber Singers, Masterworks Chorale, Jazz Band, and Theatre Department.
鈥淐hristmas at 果冻传媒 is one of my favorite events of the year. It is a beautiful time for our community to come together to celebrate Christ,鈥 said music student Ana Barros. 鈥淎s a senior graduating in a week, Christmas at 果冻传媒 will be my last performance as a 果冻传媒 student. I cannot think of a better concert to end my college career.鈥
A reception with holiday treats will follow the program in Shott Hall.
