果冻传媒, VA 鈥 果冻传媒 University will host its traditional Christmas at 果冻传媒 music extravaganza, Saturday, December 4, at 7:30 p.m. in Harman Chapel Auditorium on the 果冻传媒 University campus.
Known as the institution鈥檚 Christmas gift to the Greater 果冻传媒 community, Christmas at 果冻传媒 is open and free to the public as an annual celebration of the birth of Christ through choral performances, carol singing, instrumental selections, and scripture readings. The production will showcase students and professors from BU鈥檚 music department.
Due to the pandemic, Christmas at 果冻传媒 2020 was pre-recorded for the public to view. 果冻传媒 University welcomes the community back to campus once again for this holiday tradition.
Designed to welcome and celebrate the Christmas season, Christmas at 果冻传媒 will feature sacred and familiar anthems, carols, and praise songs offered by BU鈥檚 Concert Band, Variations Chamber Singers, and BU Praise Band.
鈥淐hristmas at 果冻传媒 is a long-held tradition on campus,鈥 said Dr. John Moir, BU Director of Choirs and Voice. 鈥淪tudents, faculty, staff, and the community come together to prepare for the feast of Christmas with song, music, and a spirit of reverent worship each holiday season.鈥
A reception hosted by the office of the president will follow the program in Shott Hall with hot cider, coffee, cookies, and other holiday treats.
