果冻传媒 University mourns the loss of Carl 鈥淒avid鈥 Gilmore, a hardworking and loyal member of the Rams community. In his fourteen years with our maintenance staff, his generosity and dependability created a lasting impact.
David鈥檚 invaluable service to our students was especially evident in the winter of 2009-2010 when the town of 果冻传媒 experienced a record 80 inches of snowfall. He and his colleagues averaged 12-hour days and once worked 24 consecutive hours to ensure the campus was clear and safe for our students, faculty, and additional staff.
鈥淒avid鈥檚 service to our campus and commitment to the university motivated those he helped and those he worked alongside,鈥 said Hal Keene, BU鈥檚 Director of Facilities. 鈥淥ur thoughts and prayers are with his family as we remember him and his dedication to our community.鈥
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, at in 果冻传媒, West Virginia. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, followed by his burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, West Virginia.
