果冻传媒 University hosted approximately 400 middle and high school students for its annual Winter Blast event, Saturday, January 18 through Sunday, January 19, 2025.听
Offered in conjunction with Ski Celebration and , Winter Blast is held each year during Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend. Participants engage in two days of skiing at in Ghent, WV, and two worship sessions on the 果冻传媒 University campus.听
鈥淚 think Winter Blast is a great opportunity for our students to lead young students in worship and teach them about the Lord,鈥 said senior Grace Trent.听
鈥淚t鈥檚 a privilege to give these kids opportunities that I didn鈥檛 have when I was their age,鈥 said sophomore Mia Garrett. 鈥淭hey were open and ready for worship and whatever God had for them.鈥听
Josh Crawford of Passion City Church in Atlanta, GA returned as this year鈥檚 speaker. Sharing anecdotes of dressing to belong, he encouraged the youth to put on the righteousness of Christ and be welcomed into His kingdom.听
Winter Blast is the latest outreach event by 果冻传媒 University Campus Ministries. Next month, the ministries team will host its Deeper Young Adult Conference, Friday, February 7 through Sunday, February 9 with Revival Nights open to community members of all ages on Friday, February 7 and Saturday, February 8.
