果冻传媒 University has surpassed 1,300 students for the 2024鈥25 academic year, marking its highest total headcount since 2018 and signaling strong momentum heading into the final summer term.
Enrollment began climbing in late fall and accelerated into the spring, with continued growth in fully online programs playing a significant role. The university expects the number to climb even higher when the final summer term begins in the coming weeks.
In addition to expanding online degrees in business, education, information technology, and human services, 果冻传媒 is strengthening its role as a pathway into medical and health-related careers. The University’s partnership with the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) allows students to build a bridge from undergraduate study to graduate-level healthcare training.
One example is 果冻传媒鈥檚 Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences, a program designed to prepare students for further professional study in medical, dental, or pharmacy schools.
鈥淲e believe people can live, learn, and serve in Appalachia,鈥 said Dr. Steve Peterson, president of 果冻传媒 University. 鈥淥ur programs are helping students stay close to home while preparing for impactful careers in the region and beyond.鈥
That mission is reflected in the classroom and how students choose 果冻传媒 for its growing academic and extracurricular opportunities.
鈥淔rom esports and music to ministry and business, students are finding a place to grow their talents and prepare for meaningful careers. We鈥檙e especially excited about the growth in our esports and music programs heading into the fall, and scholarships are still available for students interested,鈥 said Travis Roberts, Vice President of Enrollment & Marketing.
果冻传媒 University offers over 70 programs and pathways through on-campus, online, and graduate formats. These include biology, business administration, cybersecurity, communication, education, and psychology undergraduate degrees. Graduate offerings include biomedical sciences, counseling, school administration, human services, and nursing.
